I was hyped for this game, but with the recent news... not so sure.
I still want chickens in this game. No matter what
I can't wait, id even grab a Themed switch lmao
At the time I write this, the new Pokémon games have
I have to ask, out of sheer curiosity: Why do people like these games again?
@N00BiSH Honestly, even I as a long time fan of the series is HIGHLY disappointed if anything...
Im flippin hyped up for this
@Interneto same here
@matty33 wuht?
Are half the posts on here incoherent gibberish or should I be concerned that I may be experiencing a stroke?
will buy out my sheer liking of the series, but was slightly disappointed last few gens.
I'm not sure I understand ... are these TWO SEPARATE games? (For $60 USD each?!)
Well crap, I bit and just pre-ordered on Amazon for $57 been awhile since I played a Pokemon ≧∇≦
@bigbankhank as far as I'm aware it's just that there is certain Pokemon that are only available on each version.
@N00BiSH lol, why should you care what other people buy. It's our money, not yours. Why are you even here if you don't like the Pokemon franchise?? I personally play the pokemon games because I get nostalgic of my childhood, and because I like to see the new region/pokemon and how the series has developed over the years. Unfortunately for you Pokemon isn't going away anytime soon lmao
@bigbankhank They are basically the same game, same story, same experience. They differ by only a little bit, but it won't change anything
Am beating that the third version is going to be titled Pokemon Crown.
Finally got the game delivered today from amazon. Only thing that bothers me at the moment is being able to move the camera around in wild view but no where else -.- just seems really odd.
Also why is the announcer dude with a beard called Rose xD
@pumpknsniper More power to you, then.
I went back to the 3DS and DS versions which are so much better.
I need someone to trade me a foreign ditto
where spinda?
After a full playthrough, this game is pretty good. I like it overall.
Pros
-DLC
-Music
-Dynamax and Gigantamax
-Ability to rotate your camera
-Max Dens
-New Pokemon
Cons
-Story
-Hop
-"You need to beat blank gyms to catch *blank** level pokemon
-DLC is way too short for the price
-Short Postgame
-The 151 Digletts on the Isle of Armor
@1ofUs Postgamplay has always been a fault in the pokemon franchise, relying on the PokeDex and Trading. Also it's Nintendo, the deepest story they have is Legend of Zelda.
very disappointing, but I love Scorbunny, he made the purchasing of this game worth it for me
I felt that this game was a 6/10 at best, but I liked the 3DS games better.
It's no secret to me that this game as an assortment of flaws, and many ways that could be improved, especially if a 3rd Installment of this game is made.
However, all things considered. You will still find fun and enjoy in playing these games, and it has a bunch of great but poorly executed concepts.
Not gonna lie - I had more fun with this game than I did with X & Y. Mega Evolutions were fun and all, but I loved the stadium battles of Sword & Shield. It felt like it was long overdue, being able to stand in front of millions of people and having the crowd cheering you on as you fight in an epic gym battle. That battle music is adrenaline-pumping and embodies just how epic the scope of battling in those football stadiums felt like.
The game might have flaws, but dang if I didn't have a good time. Possibly the greatest presentation of a Pokémon battle since Pokémon Stadium.
