NIS America have revealed a brand new RPG from developer FURYU called CRYMACHINA, and it's heading to the Switch in Autumn 2023.
The game features fast-paced action and slick combat with beautiful sci-fi visuals and a story that will push players to question their own perception of humanity.
Here's a bit more information from NIS AmericaL
In a world where humans went extinct thousands of years ago, synthetic beings known as Dei ex Machina have been tasked to bring mankind back. Join three E.V.E, the recreated psyches of deceased humans instilled in synthetic bodies, as they seek their full-fledged humanity and explore Eden to discover the secrets hidden within.
Flashy, action-packed combat paired with in-depth weapon customisation creates a visually stunning RPG experience. Dark scenery and striking sci-fi visuals bring the world of CRYMACHINA to life.
Judging from the information we've been provided with so far, it looks like the game will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles. We'll bring you more information on CRYMACHINA as and when we receive it.
What do you think of this ifrst look at CRYMACHINA? Will you be picking it up when it launches later this year? Let us know with a comment below.

Us: Mom can we get Nier Automata
NIS: We have Nier Automata at home
Nier Automata at home:
@aznable
Had me laughing more than I should! lol
Was all excited about this new game until I read the part about no English dub.
Looks like typical gacha mobile game.
@abbyhitter You can blame Helena Taylor for that, ever since she became a greedy liar, the Japanese devs started to ignore English dub support now on Japanese developed games. Even Baten Kaitos Collection won't had English dubbed anymore and it's all Helena Taylor's fault. Trinity Trigger which was also going to have English dubbed had backtrack on its decision and will only had English subtitles instead as well. Luckily the upcoming Bayonetta Origins game won't be affected by this but I doubt a Bayonetta 4 will featured English dubbed anymore if one is in the planning.
Looks right up my alley for certain
Looks interesting, but I'm not a fan of sci-fi.
Just put words together and call it a game, regardless of how it sounds in other regions lmfao
@Serpenterror Companies cut corners to save time and money and you blame a VA? lol
Oof I'm not sure about this one. I love the games that NIS America brings over but in my eyes Crystar which was also action RPG made by FuRyu is a genuinely a really bad game. I will need to wait for some gameplay videos and reviews for this one.
So wonderfully generic!
@Serpenterror Do you have any actual sources for this or are you just saying things?
Kinda reminds me of Honkai Impact.
@Serpenterror Most games coming out this year would have recorded VO before that all happened.
I don’t mind subs at all . I like reading. That said, it does make it harder at regular volume sometimes to split attention of combat etc also happening.
Nis releases some good games and hope this turns out great. On my radar for sure
Far as dubs go I don't mind Japanese spoken language with english subs. Been playing Yakuza games plus many others this way for years.
Looks a little too close to the edge for my tastes.
Nice song though! Hard to hear it behind all the screaming...
As someone who grew up loving foreign language films, I usually prefer Japanese language with English subs anyway.
@Serpenterror - Dude, NISA has a massive habbit of forgoing English VO on most their games.
Are you saying they were psychic for doing this since 2017?
@Serpenterror. 😂 That sounds ridiculous. One person did not have an entire impact on the voice acting industry. It's most likely cut due to budget reasons.
If it bothers you that much then simply vote with your wallet. Don't buy the game. If enough people vote with their wallets they'll start to pay attention
@Paraka Exactly.
If humans has become extinct, wtf would want to bring them back?
@Serpenterror There were no voices on the great hero and the cruel king and that came out before the Helena Taylor incident.
No correlation at all.
Most JRPG players just forego the English dubs anyway because they're terrible. we're going to listen in japanese anyway, so why even bother. It's an unnecessary expense.
Unlike SE, NIS is proudly Japanese. And not as big budget.
@SigmaNoire I was worried this game is connected to Crystar because the titles are so similar. I share your doubts.
looks interesting, but between Crystar and Monark, I'll wait for a review.
@Bizzyb
That only works so well, because companies often don't understand why their stuff isn't being purchased.
This kind of stuff often gets chocked up to, "The west isn't interested in this game style," not "The contributing factor here is that we failed to include an English dub."
It's like how netflix cancels most shows after one season, starts to lose money, and decides that the solution is to put in stricter restrictions on account sharing.
Ah yes... Lots of anime screaming. Wonderful.
NieR DanganrAutomata!
@Serpenterror
...and nothing of value was lost
