Bullet journals seem to be very popular right now! I kind of had a bullet journal early last year but it was quite plain and boring and was more of a to-do list than anything. So seeing the bullet journal trend popping up, I thought I’d give it another shot with a more creative twist this time.
For this one, I’m taking the words “bullet journal” literally instead of using it like a planner like I see most people doing. I find that I don’t really need a planner planner since I’m not in school, and I also don’t have a lot of things to get done daily. Some of my tasks are still sprinkled around here and there, though.
I wanted to doodle a lot in this journal – not big things, just little things here and there to fill up spaces. That clearly didn’t end up happening. But it’s okay! I’ve started drawing daily (as you can see from my reminders in my journal) and I’ll share that here sometime next week. In the meantime, maybe I can add some doodles to next week’s spread. I partly wanted to start a bullet journal to re-spark my creativity on paper. Growing up I’ve always loved drawing and creating things and I was so sure that I’d be an illustrator or doing character design for video games or something like that, but that got lost in the jumble of life.
I’ve also made a little monthly spread, though I’m not sure what else to put on it. It’s kind of empty haha! I’ll probably work on it as I progress through the month instead of doing it in one go.
Also, there is no week one.
